The Challenge

PJ Whelihan's wanted to promote their offerings and partnerships to customers, but it proved difficult to manage multiple locations, all with unique messaging, offers and events. Previous digital signage partners presented challenges including the lack of central management and control over content. The marketing team at PJ Whelihan’s felt the content frequently became stale with a lack of playlisting options.

The introduction of “Peacock Sports Pass” on UPshow has enabled the organization to show events that otherwise would’ve been inaccessible.


Data and Metrics: “One of the things that made UPshow appealing as a new solution was not only the ability to have total control but also the easy access to the content in the portal, better visibility into data and metrics, like how much engagement our content is getting. QR Code Campaigns: QR code campaigns give customers an option to learn more themselves with on-screen and print assets that are visually appealing through the UPshow Manager and Canva integration.

The PJs Pub Club received 4,500 scans in 42 days, drastically increasing loyalty program sign-ups through the QR Code campaign.

“By incorporating QR code campaigns we have been able to drive customers to a dedicated landing page. QR code scans allow us to track engagement, whereas before UPshow, we didn't have visibility into engagement at all, or QR metrics in general. Now we get to understand how many people are taking that action. The ability to adjust QR code links without changing the QR code has been particularly useful in recent months. I was able to leverage that solution through UPshow.”
